Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of leadership.co.ke, the GLI learning management system (LMS), and all related certifications, content and services. By using the website, enrolling, or using the LMS, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. About the Services

GLI provides professional certifications, structured online courses, examinations, and verifiable digital certificates — over 1,990 certifications across 15 specialist fields. GLI is NITA-accredited and ISO 21001:2025 certified.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide accurate, current and complete information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activity under your account, and must notify us immediately of unauthorised use. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold or transferred.

3. Enrolment and Access

Access to a certification’s content, examination and certificate is granted once enrolment is confirmed and payment verified. Access is specific to the certification you enrol in; enrolling in one does not grant access to another. Course outlines may be publicly viewable, but full lesson content, examinations and certificates are available only to enrolled, verified learners.

4. Learning Pace and Academic Integrity

To protect the rigour of our credentials, the LMS applies a learning-pace policy limiting how many modules a learner may complete within a rolling weekly period across all their certifications. You agree to complete assessments honestly and independently. Cheating, impersonation, sharing examination content, or attempting to obtain a certificate without genuinely completing the programme is prohibited and may result in suspension, revocation of certificates, and denial of future services.

5. Payments

Fees are displayed at enrolment and processed securely through our authorised partners, including Paystack, M-Pesa (Paybill 222111) and bank transfer (Family Bank Kenya). You authorise us to charge the applicable fees. Prices may vary by market and change over time, but changes do not affect completed enrolments.

6. Certificates and Verification

On completing all required lessons and passing the final examination, you receive a digital certificate with a unique Certificate ID verifiable through our verification page. Certificate designs and marks remain GLI property. GLI may revoke a certificate obtained through fraud, misrepresentation or breach of these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All content within the Services — course materials, text, graphics, logos, the GLI name and marks, certificate designs, and software — is owned by or licensed to GLI. You may access and use content solely for your own learning. You may not copy, republish, distribute, resell or create derivative works without our prior written permission.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services unlawfully; attempt unauthorised access to the LMS, other accounts or our systems; disrupt the Services; upload malicious code; scrape data; or misrepresent affiliation with GLI. We may suspend or terminate access for any breach.

9. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” While we work hard to deliver accurate, high-quality content, we do not warrant the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free. Completing a certification does not guarantee employment, promotion or any particular outcome.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GLI shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any certification shall not exceed the amount you paid for it.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, engage in academic dishonesty, or use the Services in a way that harms GLI, other learners or third parties. You may stop using the Services at any time.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Kenya, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
